We're not sure exactly what the technical limits of SC2 banks are. Only then can Banks be truly secure and allow commercial operations of the Map Arcade to take place. When the Map Arcade comes out with Heart of the Swarm, it is very likely that Banks will move to Blizzard's server. They are currently stored locally in your PC. In NOTD's case, we use it to store your XP, Medals, Wins, Class Points and many others. The larger the banks, the more time we need.īanks are used to store player data. This isn't because of lag, but an intentional wait needed to load all players' bank files. If you notice very carefully, NOTD's loading has a very small wait before the storyline selection comes up. More variables also mean longer spikes during bank saves/loads and that disrupts the flow of the game. The greater the amount of variables we use, the more error prone it is. Can usually finish the map on night 3 killing the bonus even with a bad ally, while handling all the defense. Around 12 wraiths can 1shot kill a building when using the triple damage on the move research and can easily keep clearing during night. Then I start pumping out Wraiths (also good against those damn spotters), fly around the edge of the bases ignoring all defenders and just snipe all the infested structures. You can clear 2-3 bases at the north, north east and east like this on the first two days. The two top bar abilities can also clear clusters of buildings and you can do all that during day and night. The occasional flyer that gets pulled can also be handled with the drill. Then use it as vision for my laser drill as it's is continuously chipping away at buildings while the herc is parked outside the range of all enemy units. I rush a herc even before the first night ends along with the self healing upgrade and fly it to the top right corner. I love DoN as Swann, and have a bit of a unique strategy for it.
